Reading your log

A brew journal · iOS first

Your slow
Sunday ritual,
every day.

The problem

You nail a cup on Tuesday. By Saturdayyou can't remember the grind, the dose, or the thirty seconds that made it work.

Log the pour

Dose, yield, temperature, grind, and pour stages — captured the moment you brew, not reconstructed from memory later.

Being straight with you

What it doesn't do yet.

  • 01No personal peak-window calculation — the app plots your own scores by day off roast and labels 7/21 days as general guidance, not a verdict.
  • 02No prediction before you've logged enough cups — the palate model stays hidden until there's real data to say something true.
  • 03No community, no feed, no streaks — nothing that scores you on consistency instead of on the coffee.

You, if…

  • You already write dose and grind on a sticky note
  • You've rebought a bag hoping it tastes the same
  • You want the data, not a community feed

Not you, if…

  • You drink pre-ground and that's fine by you
  • You want a café finder, not a brew log
  • You want Phin to pick your next bean, sight unseen

Questions

What will it cost?

Free at launch. If we ever add a paid tier, everything you've already logged stays yours and stays free to read.

What hardware do I need?

None beyond what you already brew with. A scale helps logging be accurate, but nothing is required to get started.

When does it ship?

iOS and Android, 2026. Joining the waitlist gets you one email when it's ready — nothing before that.

What happens to my data?

It's yours. Export or delete it at any time; brewing data is never sold or used to train anything outside your own account.

One email, when it ships

Coffee deserves more attention.
